These o-rings are easily damaged when removing the fuel tank from the motorcycle for maintenance. We always apply grease and make sure the release tab is pressed in before inserting the qd-connector into the socket. Viton's increased physical resistance to damage will help these last. This ExactFit™ o-ring replaces OEM part number 0400.17.030.
